The First BioSense Scientific Workshop – 4th EOPower Balkan Workshop and caravan events

The workshop gathered together representatives of 4 ongoing ICT projects of the BioSense Center in Novi Sad: EOPower, InnoSense, ADVANTAGE and FRACTALS, members of the European Microwave Association and many SME from the region. The idea was to expose regional SMEs to the latest state-of-the-art research results in EO and ICT and to receive a feedback on industry needs and challenges. Thus, the organisation of the workshop in Novi Sad was driven by the paradigm that scientific institutions should no longer produce solutions for the users, but with the users.
On the first day of the workshop, the EOPower project and the Permanent Networking Facility were presented within the plenary session of the workshop:

On the second day of the workshop 22 participants, including 8 SMEs (or SME clusters) were present at the EOPower remote sensing morning session and the training for marketing toolkits. In the afternoon 17 more SMEs joined the promotion of the FRATALS project and FIWIRE tools. The speakers at the session and titles of their presentation were:
